Your University Experience: 🏫
Over the 4 years, you'll be working towards a BSc (Hons) in Digital and Technology Solutions, fully funded by us! Your on-the-job learning will directly contribute to your degree. We're partnering with Weston College (UCW) for your studies, and your degree will be accredited by the University of the West of England. You'll be based at our world-leading aircraft manufacturer site in Filton, Bristol.

This apprenticeship is a mix of hands-on training at Airbus and university learning. You'll get to:
- Help shape the future of IT products and services.
- Be involved in the full application development lifecycle.
- Align tech strategy with business goals.
- Help define IT policies and standards.
- Tackle project management tasks, from requirements gathering to managing timelines.
You'll collaborate with teams in engineering, design, quality, IT solutions, cybersecurity, and even HR, facilities, recruitment, and finance! 🌐

What You'll Need: ✅
This role is perfect if you're buzzing about ICT, digital tech, the Internet of Things, mobile apps, data analytics, and future tech!
To be eligible, you'll need one of the following:
- 3 A-Levels at grade C/4 or above, ideally in Maths, Sciences, and IT.
- T Level in an IT/Digital subject at Merit or above.
- BTEC L3 Extended Diploma in an IT/Digital subject, at a minimum MMM grade.
- Equivalent qualifications/experience (subject to validation).
AND a minimum of 4 GCSEs, including English Language and Maths at grade 4/C or above.
*(Psst! Due to programme funding, if you already have an undergraduate degree in computing/IT, you won't be eligible for this particular apprenticeship.)*

Important Stuff to Note: 📝
- Predicted Grades: If you're on predicted grades, your offer will be conditional on achieving the required grades before you start.
- Security Clearance: You'll need to pass a BPSS check, and potentially UK SC-level Security Clearance or Export Control.
- Right to Work: You must have legal authorisation to work in the UK for the entire programme duration.
- Levy Funding: You must be eligible for levy funding. Our roles do not currently meet UK Visas & Immigration requirements for visa sponsorship.

Key responsibilities
- Proactively assist in defining the direction for future IT Products, services and validate product designs
- Participate in all phases of the application development life cycle which includes integration, validation and production
- Align architecture strategy with the organisation business goals
- Define policies, standards and guidelines that direct the selection, development implementation and use of Information Technology within the organisation
- Project management, involving gathering requirements, creating technical specifications and architecture documents, creating and maintaining documentation and managing a project timeline
