You'll be a key player, supporting our Home Manager and Deputy Manager in making our home a fantastic place to live and work. 🚀

What You'll Be Doing:

• Be a shining example of best practice in care delivery. 🌟
• Support the Home Manager and Deputy Manager with all the day-to-day stuff, and even take the reins when they're away. 👑
• Supervise and actively get involved in providing excellent care. 💪
• Champion residents' individual care plans, making sure everything is all about them. ❤️
• Mentor and train our brilliant junior care staff – help them shine! 💡
• Safely administer medication, following all our guidelines. 💊
• Always promote residents' dignity, independence, and choices. 🕊️
• Keep records accurate and confidential. 🔒
• Work like a charm with residents, families, healthcare pros, and your amazing colleagues. 🤝
• Encourage residents to join in activities, keeping their minds and spirits buzzing. 🧠😊
• Support families with empathy and professionalism. 🤗
• Help new care staff settle in and thrive. 🌱
• Keep an eye on staff performance and flag any concerns. 👀
• Help build and maintain a positive, supportive team vibe. 🎉
• Stick to all our policies, procedures, and safety rules. ✅
• Join in team meetings and essential training sessions. 🧑‍🏫
• Ensure all records are spot on and meet legal requirements. ⚖️
• Be ready to handle emergencies like accidents, fire, or missing residents. 🚨
• Help keep the place secure and report any maintenance needs. 🛠️

What You'll Need:

• A full driver's license and your own reliable vehicle. 🚗💨
• At least 1 year of experience as a Care Assistant or Senior Care Assistant, ideally in a care setting for older adults. 👵👴
• Awesome leadership, communication, and organisational skills. 🗣️📝
• A genuinely compassionate, reliable, and dedicated attitude to person-centred care. 🥰
• The ability to rock it both as part of a team and when working solo. 🤸
• You're a fantastic communicator and love being part of a close-knit, family-like team with diverse backgrounds. 🌍👨‍👩‍👧‍👦
