IT Support Technician 🚀
Are you a tech-savvy individual ready to dive into the exciting world of IT support? We're looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our dynamic team and keep our school's technology running smoothly! 💻
What You'll Be Doing:
- Being the first point of contact for all IT-related questions and requests through our central helpdesk. 📞
- Getting hands-on with setting up, configuring, and maintaining our hardware, software, and network systems. 🔧
- Keeping our digital space secure by monitoring network security and ensuring we're compliant with data protection and GDPR rules. 🔒
- Onboarding new team members by setting up their accounts and revoking access when needed. 👋
- Lending a hand with the upkeep and repair of IT gear, printers, and classroom tech. 🖨️
- Helping with regular system backups and making sure our network is stable across the entire school. 🌐
- Providing technical wizardry for audio-visual equipment and during school events. 🎤
- Pitching in on IT projects and upgrades across the Trust. 🏗️
- Boosting cybersecurity awareness and teaching staff and students about safe digital habits. 🛡️
- Championing safeguarding and maintaining absolute confidentiality at all times. ✨

Key responsibilities
- Provide first-line support for IT issues and service requests via the central helpdesk.
- Install, configure, and maintain hardware, software, and network systems.
- Monitor and maintain network security, ensuring compliance with data protection and GDPR regulations.
- Set up new users, manage accounts, and remove access when staff or students leave.
- Support the maintenance and repair of IT equipment, printers, and classroom devices.
