Horse Handler & Stable Assistant ๐โจ
Are you passionate about all things equine and ready to dive into the daily rhythm of a thriving stable? We're looking for a dedicated and energetic individual to join our team! This is a hands-on role where you'll be instrumental in keeping our horses healthy, happy, and looking their absolute best.
What you'll be doing:
- Yard Upkeep: Mucking out stables and maintaining a clean, tidy yard area. ๐งน
- Feeding & Watering: Preparing and distributing feed, filling hay nets, and ensuring water buckets are always topped up. ๐๐ง
- Turnout & In: Safely moving horses to and from pastures. ๐๏ธ
- Horse Care Essentials: Picking out hooves, applying rugs, and ensuring general comfort. ๐ข
- Grooming & Tack: Meticulous grooming to keep coats shining and preparing tack for use. ๐งผ
- Tack Maintenance: Keeping all tack clean and in excellent condition.
- Bathing & Prep: Assisting with bathing and preparing horses for shows and events. ๐
- Training Support: Lunging and long-reining horses.
- Healthcare Assistance: Holding horses for vet, farrier, and dentist appointments. ๐ฉบ
- Riding Opportunities: Potential to ride for candidates with the right skills and experience. ๐
- Event Involvement: Opportunities to attend and assist at competitions and shows! ๐
What you'll need:
- Essential: Proven experience working with horses is a must! ๐ฏ
