Job Purpose: Work within the Practice Education and Apprenticeship Administration Team, delivering high-quality admin and clerical support as part of the People Services Directorate. This apprenticeship is part of our commitment to building a strong admin workforce and creating future NHS career paths. 🌟 You'll get a structured path to gain valuable work experience, develop professional skills, and earn a recognised Business Administration qualification, all while helping deliver Practice Education services. You’ll learn and use a bunch of admin skills in a supportive setting, making sure education and workforce development run efficiently. Completing the apprenticeship programme, including all learning and assessments, is a key part of this role and your contract. You'll be expected to fully engage with and complete the apprenticeship alongside your job duties. ✅

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide top-tier admin and clerical support to the Practice Education and Apprenticeship Administration Team.
  • Handle enquiries from learners, apprentices, staff, educators, training providers, and universities politely, helpfully, and promptly. Escalate issues when needed. 👂
  • Support the admin of placements, apprenticeships, development programmes, inductions, meetings, and learning events.
  • Maintain accurate electronic records, spreadsheets, databases, shared mailboxes, and filing systems, keeping all info confidential according to Trust policies. 🔒
  • Arrange meetings, book venues, manage diaries, prep and share docs, take notes/minutes, and follow up on actions. 📅
  • Use Microsoft Office and relevant Trust systems to create correspondence, presentations, reports, and other admin materials. 💻
  • Actively participate in and successfully complete the Level 3 Business Administration Apprenticeship, applying your learning to tasks and service improvements. 💯
