🚀 Advanced Manufacturing Apprentice 🚀

Dreaming of building the future? Want to get hands-on with cutting-edge engineering and create parts for massive aircraft like the C130J Hercules? This is your chance! ✈️

As an Advanced Manufacturing Apprentice, you'll dive into multiple engineering disciplines, transforming propeller design ideas into reality. 🛠️ You'll gain valuable skills that will let you manufacture propellers for the aviation industry's biggest players.

What You'll Do & Learn:

  • Work across various engineering fields, turning designs into tangible products.
  • Develop skills to manufacture high-spec propellers.
  • Participate in projects beyond your day-to-day tasks to boost your teamwork and personal growth. 🌟
  • Receive guidance from line managers, mentors, and a supportive apprentice network.

Your Journey (3 Years + Final Assessment):

  • Year 1: Full-time learning at GET – Gloucestershire Engineering Training. You'll earn a Level 3 Certificate, recognized by top Professional Engineering Institutions.
  • Year 2: One day a week at college, with the rest of your time spent gaining practical experience in the workplace.
  • Year 3: Full-time in the workplace, with dedicated time for your final assessments and assignments.

As you progress, you'll become a key part of the team, taking on more responsibility and paving the way for future roles, like Manufacturing Engineer. 📈

We're Looking For You If You Have (or are predicted):

  • Essential: At least 4 GCSEs at Grade C/4 or equivalent, including Maths, English, and a Science subject. 📚
  • Want to be part of the action: Eager to jump into projects and get involved.
  • Organised: You can manage your time and hit deadlines. ⏰
  • Curious & Driven: You're inspired to learn and always asking "how?" 🤔
  • Great Communicator: You can express yourself clearly, both in writing and speaking.
  • Proactive: You take ownership of your tasks and projects.
  • Problem Solver: You enjoy tackling challenges and finding solutions. 💡
  • Team Player: You work well with others.
  • Tech Savvy: Comfortable using Microsoft Office.
