Quality Practitioner Apprentice π

What you'll be doing:
As a Quality Practitioner Apprentice, you'll dive into the world of aviation quality assurance and continuous improvement. You'll be supporting our Quality department to ensure our products meet the highest standards, including AS9100D, Part 145, and Part 21G.
- Assist with internal audits and compliance checks across our Quality and Safety Management Systems. π§
- Support shop floor Quality Control activities within our supply chain. πͺ
- Help track and verify corrective actions to ensure theyβre closed out effectively. β
- Maintain accurate document control records and ensure everything is up-to-date. π
- Enter and analyze data to help us spot trends and improve our quality metrics. π
- Help prepare audit packs and gather evidence for regulatory reviews. π
- Participate in exciting Kaizen events and continuous improvement projects. π‘
You won't be alone! You'll have a supportive line manager, placement managers, mentors, and a whole network of apprentices to help you succeed. π€
Your Apprenticeship Journey:
This is a 2-year program (plus up to 6 months for your End Point Assessment).
- Year 1: Immerse yourself in online training with Clear Quality, featuring monthly tutor-led sessions and practical assignments. You'll also complete engineering topics at GET Engineering Training. π»π
- Throughout: Youβll be working full-time at the site, applying your learning directly to real projects. As you progress, you'll take on more responsibility and become a key part of the team! π
What you'll bring:
- Essential: At least 4 GCSEs at Grade C/4 or equivalent, including Maths and English. π―
- Nice to Have: A Pass in a Science subject. π§ͺ
- Your Qualities:
- A sharp eye for detail and a passion for learning about regulations. π
- Willingness to get hands-on and jump into projects. π
- Organized and great at meeting deadlines. β°
- Curious and eager to learn. π€
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. π£οΈ
- Ability to take ownership of your work. π
- Analytical and problem-solving skills. π§
- Proficient with Microsoft Office. π»
