What you'll be doing:

  • Getting stuck into practical tasks like loading, unloading, and moving materials across our site. ๐Ÿšš๐Ÿ’จ
  • Mastering industrial waste treatment processes using advanced plant and computer systems. ๐Ÿ’ปโš™๏ธ
  • Collecting samples, running routine tests, and helping us analyse materials and processes. ๐Ÿงช๐Ÿ“Š
  • Performing regular checks, maintenance, and servicing on our equipment, including using basic tools. ๐Ÿ”ง๐Ÿ”ฉ
  • Tackling physical and manual duties, keeping our site tidy, and ensuring equipment is in top shape. ๐Ÿ’ชโœจ
  • Accurately recording important data and documentation โ€“ attention to detail is key! ๐Ÿ“
  • Championing Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality (SHEQ) procedures โ€“ always wearing your PPE! ๐Ÿ›ก๏ธ
  • Collaborating effectively in a team and working independently to keep things running smoothly. ๐Ÿค
  • Being flexible with your working hours, with a formal shift pattern kicking in after about 18 months. โฐ

Key responsibilities

  • Carry out hands-on operational tasks including loading, unloading and moving materials.
  • Operate and monitor industrial waste treatment processes using specialist plant and computerised systems.
  • Collect samples, conduct routine testing and assist with the analysis of materials and processes.
  • Carry out routine inspections, maintenance and servicing of plant and equipment.
  • Accurately record test results, operational data and site documentation, following SHEQ procedures.
