What You'll Be Doing:

This Higher Apprenticeship Programme is all about your development. Youโ€™ll be part of the Virtual Finance team while crushing your AAT Level 3 and Level 4 qualifications. ๐ŸŽ‰ Working with a diverse range of clients means you'll get a super well-rounded experience. The Awesome Journey:

  • Year 1: The Foundation Builder ๐Ÿงฑ
  • Master the basics of bookkeeping: posting invoices and bank transactions.
  • Use cutting-edge software to make processes faster and smoother. ๐Ÿ’ป
  • Get your head around VAT and start preparing and submitting smaller returns. ๐Ÿงพ
  • Year 2: Level Up Your Skills โฌ†๏ธ
  • Tackle more complex tasks like calculating and posting month-end journals (depreciation, accruals, prepayments).
  • Prepare month-end reporting packs and help create commentary for clients. ๐Ÿ“Š
  • Become a go-to person for junior apprentices and a buddy for new starters! ๐Ÿค—

Key responsibilities

  • Preparing, recording and processing data within the financial systems
  • Completing monthly management accounts
  • Preparing and submitting VAT returns
  • Posting purchase and sales invoices, bank transactions and month-end journals
  • Preparing month-end reporting packs and supporting commentaries
