Get ready to be the tech wizard 🧙 our Academy needs! You'll be the go-to person for keeping our IT systems running smoothly, supporting everyone from teachers to students. This role is all about making sure our tech helps learning and admin sparkle! ✨ Your duties might switch up as things change, but you'll always be involved in making sure our digital world is top-notch.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Day-to-Day Tech Heroics: Keep our IT systems humming for administration, teaching, and learning. 🚀
- Helpdesk Ace: Manage our IT helpdesk, logging issues, finding solutions, and asking for backup from your manager when you need it. 📞
- Task Master: Tackle routine IT jobs as your Line Manager directs. ✅
- Problem Solver: Help staff and students with any IT hardware, software, network, or operating system hiccups. 🛠️
- Installation Guru: Assist in setting up and maintaining Academy hardware like network gear, servers, workstations, projectors, and other cool teaching tools. 🖥️
- Classroom Companion: Pop into classrooms to help teachers and students with IT needs when requested. 🧑🏫
- Event Tech Support: Be the tech backbone for Academy events, from staff briefings to training sessions. 🎉
- Online Learning & Marketing: Support our online learning platforms, and even help out with online media and marketing vibes. 🌐
- Infrastructure Support: Help with ICT technical needs, which could involve hardware installs, infrastructure tweaks, or software updates. ⚡
- Routine Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance tasks following Academy rules. 🔧
- Backup Champion: Make sure our backup procedures are followed to keep everything safe. 💾
- Security Watchdog: Keep an eye out for information security threats, including student misuse of computers, and report them. 🛡️

Key responsibilities
- Provide daily support for IT systems for administration, teaching, and learning.
- Operate the IT helpdesk system, documenting issues and recommending solutions.
- Support IT hardware, software, network, and operating system problems and queries.
- Assist with the installation and maintenance of Academy hardware, including network infrastructure.
- Execute routine IT tasks and maintenance activities as delegated.
