Your responsibilities will include:

  • Parent Partnerships: Working closely with parents, carers, and families to meet each child's unique needs and respecting parental preferences. We're all a team for the kids! ๐Ÿค
  • Professionalism: Building and maintaining strong, professional relationships with parents at all times.
  • Safeguarding Superstars: Upholding our safeguarding Code of Conduct and strictly following all setting policies and procedures to keep our children safe. Your priority is their safety, always. ๐Ÿ›ก๏ธ
  • Team Player: Developing your role within our fantastic team, especially as a key worker, building those special bonds with your assigned children. ๐Ÿ”‘
  • Safety First Reporting: Immediately reporting any accidents to the designated persons and completing the necessary paperwork. ๐Ÿ“
  • Vigilance: Ensuring the safeguarding of children is always paramount.
  • Keeping Us Updated: Informing the Nursery Manager IMMEDIATELY of any concerns and any changes to your DBS status.
  • DBS Maintenance: Providing necessary documentation to update your DBS check every 3 years and signing up for the DBS update service. ๐Ÿ’ป
  • Whistleblowing Champion: Following our whistleblowing policy to ensure children's safety is always prioritized.
  • Growth Opportunities: Attending training courses as required to keep your skills sharp and up-to-date. ๐Ÿ“š
