What you'll be doing:

  • Lend a hand to qualified teachers and staff in supporting students' learning journey. 📚
  • Assist with classroom activities and engaging learning tasks. 🎨
  • Work one-on-one and in small groups with pupils to boost their learning. ✨
  • Help students build confidence, independence, and awesome learning habits. 💪
  • Get classroom resources and materials ready for action. 📦
  • Support pupils with reading, writing, maths, and other cool curriculum subjects. ✍️➕
  • Foster positive behaviour and help keep our classroom a safe, welcoming, and inclusive space for everyone. 💖
  • Provide support for pupils with additional learning needs, where needed. 🤝
  • Help with daily classroom routines, vibrant displays, and general organisation. 📂
  • Support teachers in observing and tracking pupil progress. 👀
  • Build positive connections with students, staff, and parents/carers. 👋
  • Always follow school policies and safeguarding procedures – safety first! ✅
  • Covering lunch breaks. 🍎

Your Training Journey:

You'll be enrolled in a recognised Teaching Assistant apprenticeship program while you work with us. This comprehensive training will equip you with essential knowledge and practical skills in:

  • Supporting teaching and learning effectively. 🍎
  • Understanding child and young people's development. 🌱
  • Safeguarding and child protection. 🛡️
  • Supporting pupils with diverse needs. 🌈
  • Effective communication and professional relationships. 🗣️

You'll have dedicated support from both the school and your training provider, with plenty of time set aside to smash your apprenticeship training and qualification. 🏆
