You'll be working with amazing pupils who have severe and profound learning difficulties, including many on the Autistic Spectrum who may display challenging behaviours. We're all about inclusion and providing a supportive environment for everyone. ✨

As a key member of our LSA and teaching team, you'll receive a planned induction and ongoing support from a large, strong, and dedicated group. Guided by our teachers, your role will be to directly support individual students and small groups to hit their learning goals. This involves:

  • Following lesson plans to assist with activities. πŸ“
  • Reporting behaviour observations to teachers to help maintain our high standards of discipline and behaviour. πŸ—£οΈ
  • Fostering children's physical, emotional, and educational development through engaging activities and play. πŸ€Έβ€β™€οΈ
  • Supervising and encouraging safe behaviour for individuals and groups. πŸ‘
  • Reinforcing learning habits and routines set by the teacher, helping students access the curriculum. 🧠
  • Preparing, storing, retrieving, sorting, and displaying materials and resources to create an effective learning environment. πŸ“

Key responsibilities

  • Provide direct support for the learning of individual children or groups of children.

  • Prepare, store, retrieve, sort, and display materials to assist in providing an effective learning environment.
