This is your chance to gain hands-on experience and develop your skills while working closely with students who have special educational needs. You'll be a vital part of our supportive environment, helping students thrive both academically and personally. 🚀
What you'll be doing:
- Championing Students: 📣 You'll work directly with students, delivering targeted support, helping them with their studies, and ensuring their wellbeing. This includes planning and leading intervention sessions, assisting with personal care needs, and promoting their independence. You'll also be involved in educational trips and activities! 🚌
- Supporting Our Team: 🤝 You'll assist our SENCO and teaching staff by helping to develop student support plans, managing classroom behaviour, and preparing learning materials. You'll also be responsible for keeping accurate records of student progress and contributing to important review meetings. 📊
- Boosting Learning: 📚 You'll play a key role in promoting literacy, numeracy, and SEND strategies across all learning activities. You'll help students get comfortable with technology and contribute to the planning and delivery of engaging lessons. 💻
- Contributing to Our School: 🏫 Your commitment to safeguarding, promoting the welfare of children, and adhering to school policies is crucial. You'll build positive relationships with parents, carers, and external professionals, and contribute to our school's positive and inclusive ethos. We encourage you to attend training and professional development sessions to grow your own skills! 🌱
- Professional Growth: 📈 You'll be expected to work collaboratively with colleagues and external agencies, actively participate in team meetings, and continuously develop your own professional strengths and expertise. We value teamwork and a proactive approach! 💪
