What you'll be doing:

  • Helping out with awesome project-based learning, tailoring activities to each learner. 🎨
  • Keeping classrooms prepped and looking good with resources and displays. 📚
  • Handling general admin and keeping things organised. 📁
  • Championing safeguarding and keeping everyone safe and healthy. ❤️
  • Encouraging positive vibes, good behaviour, and respectful interactions. 👍
  • Supervising students inside and outside the classroom, keeping them safe and engaged. 👀
  • Supporting the development of literacy and numeracy skills. 💯
  • Getting involved in cool creative activities like filmmaking, pottery, and crafts. 🎬🏺
  • Assisting with practical learning in areas like construction, horticulture, and wildlife. 🌱
  • Helping with hospitality and cookery sessions. 🍳
  • Completing essential training (trauma-informed practice, safeguarding, Health & Safety, and more!). 🎓
  • Handling other associated duties as needed.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist with project-based educational support, adapting activities to meet individual learners' needs
  • Provide general classroom support, including setting up equipment, resources and displays
  • Undertake general classroom administration and organisational tasks
  • Support safeguarding procedures and maintain high standards of Health and Safety
  • Promote discipline, positive behaviour and respectful relationships
