What You'll Be Doing:
- Helping with fun project-based learning, tailoring activities to each student's vibe. π¨
- Being a superstar in the classroom β setting up cool stuff, resources, and displays. π«
- Handling admin and keeping things organised so we can focus on learning. π
- Championing safeguarding and keeping everyone safe and healthy. β€οΈ
- Encouraging awesome behaviour and positive vibes. π
- Keeping an eye on students, in and out of the classroom. π
- Boosting literacy and numeracy skills in creative ways. π‘
- Getting involved in awesome creative activities like filmmaking, pottery, and crafts. π¬πΊ
- Supporting practical skills in construction, gardening, and wildlife. πΏπ¦
- Lending a hand with hospitality and cookery. π§βπ³
- Completing essential training (trauma-informed practice, safeguarding, County Lines, Health & Safety, and more!). π§
- And generally being an all-around legend! π
Key responsibilities
- Assist with project-based educational support, adapting activities to meet individual learners' needs
- Provide general classroom support, including setting up equipment, resources and displays
- Undertake general classroom administration and organisational tasks
- Support safeguarding procedures and maintain high standards of Health and Safety
- Promote discipline, positive behaviour and respectful relationships
