You'll be instrumental in creating a truly captivating environment for our little ones, working collaboratively to support the nursery's expansion. 🚀
What you'll be doing:
- Championing our nursery's ethos by providing a warm, welcoming, and stimulating space where every child feels safe and secure. 🤗
- Working alongside Senior and Qualified Practitioners to ensure the well-being and care of all children, supporting their learning journey, including those with additional needs. 🧠
- Assisting in the planning and preparation of engaging activities tailored to individual children's needs, communicating effectively with parents and setting collaborative goals. 🤝
- Contributing to learning experiences that build children's confidence and independence in a vibrant setting. 💡
- Nurturing positive relationships and modeling excellent behavior to promote children's emotional well-being, confidence, and self-esteem. ❤️
- Supporting the recording of observations, assessments, and progress tracking using various methods to inform future planning. 📝
- Supervising mealtimes, and assisting with food/bottle preparation for babies to ensure safe eating practices. 🍎
- Strictly adhering to our Allergies and Allergic Reactions Policy, and Sleep Policy to safeguard all children. ✅
- Understanding and promoting our inclusion and equality policies and procedures. 🌈
- Being a dependable team player, working cooperatively and with adaptability. 🤸
- Working flexible hours as required by the Nursery Manager. ⏰
- Undertaking any other duties as directed by the Nursery Manager and Company Directors. 📋
Key responsibilities
- Provide a warm, welcoming, and stimulating environment for children.
- Ensure the well-being, care, and learning support for all children.
- Assist with the planning and preparation of activities to meet children’s individual needs.
- Assist in the recording and monitoring of children’s learning and development.
- Adhere to safeguarding policies, including those for allergies and sleep.
