What you'll be doing:

  • Running venepuncture (phlebotomy) clinics safely and following all procedures. ๐Ÿฉธ
  • Accurately performing and recording 12-lead ECGs. ๐Ÿ“ˆ
  • Completing and recording routine physical health observations. โœ…
  • Assisting with physical health assessments and health screening programmes. ๐Ÿ“‹
  • Making patients feel welcome, preparing them, and supporting them during their visits to our clinics. ๐Ÿค—
  • Ensuring specimens are labelled, documented, and transported correctly. ๐Ÿ“ฆ
  • Keeping patient records up-to-date using our electronic systems. ๐Ÿ’ป
  • Managing and restocking clinic supplies. ๐Ÿ“ฆ
  • Upholding the highest standards of infection prevention and control. ๐Ÿงผ
  • Raising any concerns about patient health, safety, or wellbeing according to Trust procedures. ๐Ÿšจ
  • Supporting individuals with mental health challenges with respect and dignity. ๐Ÿ™
  • Building positive relationships with service users, their families, and carers. โค๏ธ
  • Spotting signs of mental health distress, relapse, or worsening conditions and escalating concerns appropriately. ๐Ÿง 
  • Helping individuals stick to treatment plans, physical health monitoring, and wellbeing interventions. ๐Ÿƒโ€โ™€๏ธ
  • Contributing to risk assessments by reporting your observations to registered staff. ๐Ÿ“
  • Championing social inclusion, independence, and self-management where suitable. ๐ŸŒป
  • Supporting service users who might be experiencing anxiety, depression, severe mental illness, or emotional distress during clinic visits. ๐ŸŽ—๏ธ
