Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of young children? 👶👧👦 Twinkle Totz Day Nursery is on the hunt for a motivated individual to join us as a Nursery Assistant Apprentice, working towards your Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification! 📚

This is your chance to gain a sought-after qualification while doing something incredibly rewarding. You'll be immersed in a supportive environment, caring for children aged 0-5 and helping them thrive. 🚀

What you'll be doing:

• Supporting children with their daily routines, including feeding, nappy changing, and toileting. 🍎👖
• Working with an amazing team to deliver the best Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum. 🎨
• Planning and delivering fun, age-appropriate play activities that spark curiosity and cater to individual needs. 🧸
• Being a guardian for children, ensuring their safety and well-being is always the top priority. 🛡️
• Becoming a "Key Person," building strong bonds with a small group of children and their families. 🤝
• Observing, assessing, and documenting children's amazing progress and development. 👀
• Creating a welcoming and stimulating environment where every child feels special and supported. 🌟
• Building positive relationships with parents and carers, working together for the child's benefit. 🗣️
• Following our nursery's policies and procedures to ensure a smooth and safe operation. ✅
• Maintaining high standards of health, safety, hygiene, and cleanliness. 🧼
• Attending regular team meetings and training events to boost your skills. 🎓
• Collaborating with external agencies when needed to support children. 🌐

What we're looking for:

• A genuine love for working with children. ❤️
• Previous experience in childcare is a must.
• Ideally, you'll already have your Childcare Level 2 qualification.

Key responsibilities

• Work closely with children aged 0-5 years, looking after their daily needs such as feeding, nappy changing and toileting
• Work as part of a team to deliver and meet the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage for all children
• Plan, provide and support age-appropriate play opportunities in line with the curriculum and individual needs
• Ensure the safeguarding and welfare of all children in your care
• Be a key person to an allocated number of children and their families
