About the role

🚀 IT Support Apprentice - Bristol 🚀

Are you ready to kickstart your career in tech? Womble Bond Dickinson is looking for a motivated and curious individual to join our dynamic IT Support team in Bristol! 💻

This isn't just any apprenticeship; it's your chance to earn a Microsoft Azure Cloud Support Specialist Level 3 qualification while getting paid, hands-on experience. 💰

Our IT team is the backbone of our success, keeping us at the forefront of technological advancements in the legal world. We've adapted brilliantly to hybrid working and are passionate about innovation. Join us and be part of a team that ensures our IT infrastructure is top-notch, new systems are developed, and everyone gets excellent support. ✨

What you'll be doing:

  • Supporting our Level 2 Support team in providing awesome technical assistance to colleagues firm-wide.
  • Getting practical experience in:
  • Deskside support 🧑‍💻
  • Troubleshooting devices 🔧
  • Microsoft 365 ☁️
  • Mobile devices 📱
  • Printers and scanners 🖨️
  • Video conferencing/AV 🎤
  • User access issues 🤔
  • Resolving incidents and managing knowledge 🧠
  • Collaborating with the Service Desk, Level 2 analysts, and other IT teams to solve problems fast. ⚡
  • Assisting with exciting projects like hardware upgrades, office moves, and software deployments. 🚀

What we're looking for:

We need your attitude, curiosity, and willingness to grow – not years of experience! If you're genuinely interested in IT, communicate clearly and friendly, and can follow instructions carefully, you're a great fit. 👍

You should be comfortable with basic troubleshooting, logging issues accurately, and knowing when to ask for help. Professionalism and responsibility when handling equipment and data security are a must. We'll teach you the rest! 💡

Bonus points if you have:

  • Previous customer service, IT support, or technical troubleshooting experience.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Teams, Outlook, Windows 11, printers, or mobile phones. 📱
  • Experience in a professional, legal, or client-facing environment.
  • Evidence of self-learning or a passion for tech outside of school. 🤓

Entry Requirements:

  • 3 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grade 4+ (A-C) in any subject.
  • GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grade 3+ (D or above).
  • You must not hold a similar qualification at the same or higher level already.

Working Hours: 35 hours per week, 9 am - 5 pm. ⏰
