About the role
Thales Electronics Engineering Apprenticeship 🚀
Ready to dive into the exciting world of electronics? This isn't just a job; it's your launchpad! ⚡ Our Electronics Engineering Apprenticeship at Thales is your chance to get hands-on experience in electronics design, integration, testing, and troubleshooting. You'll be working side-by-side with seasoned engineers on real-life projects, learning the ropes as you go. The specifics can change depending on the team, but the core mission is clear: building and validating awesome electronic solutions. 💡
What You'll Be Doing:
- Design & Develop: Jump into electronics design activities. This could involve helping with circuit design, picking the best components, reviewing schematics and layouts, or tweaking existing designs. ✍️
- Build & Integrate: Get your hands dirty assembling hardware. You'll start with breadboards and prototypes and move on to building production-level stuff, like putting together modules, wiring things up, and integrating different parts of a system. 🛠️
- Test & Verify: Become a whiz with test equipment! You'll use tools like oscilloscopes and multimeters to check if things work as they should, find and fix any glitches, and keep detailed records of your findings. 📊
- Troubleshoot & Solve: When things go wrong, you'll be the go-to person. Investigate issues that pop up during testing or integration, and help put fixes or improvements in place. 🕵️
- Document Everything: Keep our engineering work on point by writing test reports, managing records, updating documentation, and contributing to important engineering reviews. 📄
- Safety & Quality First: Work in an environment where safety and quality are paramount. You'll learn and follow all the necessary procedures, configuration control practices, and quality standards that Thales and its programmes demand. ✅
