✨ Junior Project Coordinator Apprentice ✨

Ready to kickstart your career in construction and project management? 🚀 We're looking for motivated individuals eager to learn and contribute to exciting projects! This is your chance to gain hands-on experience and develop key skills in a dynamic environment.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Assisting in creating detailed specifications and contract documents for construction work. 📝
  • Understanding and applying the best techniques for assessing tender submissions and performing tender analysis. 📊
  • Learning to prepare project accounts and manage finances, including handling accounts for smaller projects. 💰
  • Getting hands-on with basic property surveys and understanding the importance of a 10-year Planned Preventative Maintenance schedule. 🏡
  • Working within and supporting health and safety and statutory fire requirements on projects. 👷‍♀️
  • Collaborating with project management teams to support ad hoc surveys, project performance, and financial reporting. 📈
  • Supporting the delivery of our Major Works, ESF, and SMDP project portfolios. 🏗️
  • Learning how to define client briefs, appoint and manage consultants and contractors, coordinate design development, and secure necessary consents (planning/listed building). 🏛️
  • Grasping the process of managing projects through RIBA Stages, including procurement and navigating the Grosvenor Gateway Approval Process. ✅
  • Understanding and applying relevant statutory requirements for construction and facilities management projects. 📜
  • Assisting in monitoring onsite fabric, maintenance, and electrical projects, and liaising with suppliers and tenants. 🤝
  • Learning about risk, programme, and cost management across various projects. 🎯
