Reporting to the Learning Support Co-ordinator or SEND Lead, you'll be a key player in helping students thrive! 🚀
What you'll be doing:
- Crafting awesome Additional Learning Support (ALS) Plans based on student and family feedback for your caseload. 📝
- Providing 1:1 or small group support to smash those learning barriers and unlock potential. 🤝
- Helping students fully engage in college life and boost their study skills for independent learning. 📚
- Offering personal care and medical support when needed for students with specific care plans. ❤️
- Teaming up with the SEND Lead to ensure students have the coolest assistive tech and digital tools. 💻
- Collaborating with teachers to adapt lessons and materials so everyone can learn their way. 👩🏫👨🏫
- Keeping detailed records of support and progress on our college tracking system. 📊
- Helping out at student Annual Reviews. 🗓️
- Chatting with parents/carers and external agencies to keep everyone in the loop. 🗣️
- Supporting students during public exams and formal assessments. 💯

Key responsibilities
- Provide regular support for an identified caseload of students, either 1:1 or in small groups.
- Support students to participate in all aspects of college activity and to develop their study skills.
- Provide personal care/medical support as required for individual students with care plans.
- Collaborate and work closely with teaching staff to adapt and differentiate learning materials.
- Provide and maintain records of support provision and outcomes for each supported student on the college tracking system.

GCSE in: (English (grade C/4), Maths (grade C/4))
