What you'll do:
- Be a key player in ensuring our Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) activities are top-notch across all our contracts. 💯
- Get involved in site inspections, audits, and checks – both planned and surprise ones – to make sure we're always meeting company standards, legal requirements, and client needs. This means being ready for day and night shifts, all year round! 🌃☀️
- Keep a close eye on how we're sticking to Safe Systems of Work (SSOWs), risk assessments, and our operational procedures. 👀
- Help investigate incidents, near misses, and any hiccups, making sure we learn from them and share those lessons. 🧠
- Support the collection, analysis, and reporting of HSEQ data and trends. 📊
- Champion the Amey Zero Code and build a strong, positive safety culture across our teams. 💪
- Participate in depot inspections and workplace checks, spotting ways we can be even better. ✨
- Help create, review, and communicate important documents like risk assessments and SSOWs. ✍️
- Assist with delivering safety briefings, campaigns, toolbox talks, and other cool initiatives to engage our workforce. 🗣️
- Build awesome working relationships with everyone from operatives to managers, clients, and stakeholders. 🤝
- Help us stay compliant with ISO management systems, legal obligations, and client-specific HSEQ demands. ✅
- Keep records, reports, and paperwork accurate and up to date. 📁
- Commit to your own growth by attending training, development programs, and apprenticeship activities to achieve your Level 3 qualification and professional goals. 🎓
- Get involved in continuous improvement efforts to boost safety, quality, environmental performance, and how we operate. 📈

Key responsibilities
