Early Years Practitioner β¨
Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of young children? π± We're looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our team and help shape the early years of children aged 0-5. This is your chance to get hands-on with daily care, including feeding, nappy changes, and supporting toileting routines. ππ½
You'll be a vital part of a collaborative team, committed to meeting the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) for every child. π€ Your creativity will shine as you plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate play opportunities that cater to the EYFS curriculum and the unique needs of each child. π¨π
Your top priority will be the safeguarding and welfare of all children in your care. π‘οΈ You'll also have the rewarding role of being a "key person" to a group of children and their families, building strong, positive relationships and supporting their journey. π
We value observation and assessment to track children's learning and development progress. π You'll help create an enabling environment that supports every child's individual growth and potential. π
Building and maintaining positive relationships with parents and carers is essential. π£οΈ You'll also be expected to follow all our policies and procedures, including maintaining strict confidentiality. π€«
Regular team meetings are a key part of our collaborative approach. ποΈ Upholding high standards of health, safety, hygiene, and cleanliness at all times is non-negotiable. π§ΌβοΈ
We believe in continuous professional development, so attending training events and meetings as identified by the setting manager is important for your growth. π You may also liaise with external agencies to provide the best support for our children. ποΈ
We're a dynamic team, so undertaking other duties as deemed necessary by the setting manager is also part of the role. πͺ
