You'll be a key player in delivering Ofsted-registered wraparound care in schools, so a good understanding of the legislation governing this is a plus! ๐Ÿ“š We need your energy to run awesome breakfast clubs, after-school clubs, and lunchtime activities. Get ready to facilitate a vibrant mix of engaging play, creative crafts, and energetic sports for children! ๐Ÿคธโ€โ™€๏ธ๐ŸŽจโšฝ

This role also involves delivering targeted interventions to boost pupil learning and supporting exciting holiday camp programs. ๐Ÿ•๏ธ You'll be offering crucial support to our Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) children, understanding their unique needs. Get hands-on arranging and setting up equipment to create inspiring learning environments. ๐Ÿ’ก

You'll conduct risk assessments to ensure a healthy, safe, and secure space for everyone. ๐Ÿ›ก๏ธ We want you to plan and deliver high-quality play activities in a safe and caring setting, making sure our environment is inclusive for all children, including those with SEN. ๐ŸŒˆ

We champion child-centered play, so you'll be actively seeking children's views and involving them in planning, respecting their preferences and allowing for safe risks and challenges. Let's empower them! ๐Ÿ’ช You'll also help prepare nutritious snacks, promoting independence and self-choice. ๐ŸŽ

Key Responsibilities:

  • Directly engage with pupils across all key stages in playwork activities.
  • Support the delivery of Ofsted-registered wraparound care provision.
  • Deliver engaging breakfast club, after-school club, and lunchtime activities.
  • Facilitate a range of play, craft, and sports activities.
  • Deliver interventions to support targeted pupil learning.
  • Support holiday camp programmes and activities.
  • Offer support to children in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
  • Arrange and set up equipment and resources for effective learning environments.
  • Conduct risk assessments to ensure a safe and secure environment.
  • Plan and deliver high-quality play activities in a safe and caring setting.
  • Ensure the environment is inclusive and caters to all childrenโ€™s needs, including SEN.
  • Seek childrenโ€™s views and involve them in planning activities, respecting their preferences.
  • Facilitate child-centered play, allowing safe risks and challenges.
  • Help prepare nutritious snacks, promoting independence and self-choice.
  • Safeguarding Children: Understand and apply safeguarding procedures, reporting concerns immediately.
  • Maintain confidential records such as accident forms and safeguarding disclosures.
  • Provide care for children, including safe collection and delivery.
  • Meet the needs of EYFS children, understanding additional roles.
  • Support intimate care situations respectfully and safely.
