What you'll be doing:

  • Keeping our workspace safe and sound for everyone. ✅
  • Checking incoming and outgoing goods for any boo-boos or missing items, and flagging any issues to your manager. 🧐
  • Moving and storing stuff safely and efficiently, using cool equipment (MHE) and your PPE when needed. Don't forget those pre-use safety checks! 🤖🛡️
  • Helping organize our storage so we can grab things super fast. ⚡
  • Working with our delivery crew to load and unload goods like a pro. 💪
  • Making sure everything is stored and handled according to the rules (especially for special items like food or medicines). 🍎💊
  • Keeping our warehouse management system up-to-date with all the important info. 💻
  • Picking orders accurately and quickly for our customers. 🛒
  • Restocking our picking locations to keep things flowing smoothly. 🔄
  • Helping with stock takes and spotting any differences. 🕵️
  • Joining in on briefings and handovers to help us hit our goals. 🎯
  • Applying the 3 Rs (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) to all our packaging. ♻️

Key responsibilities

  • Maintain a safe working environment and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards for goods handling and storage.
  • Inspect, process, and handle goods for inbound receipt and outbound despatch, raising any discrepancies with management.
  • Safely move, store, select, and replenish goods within the storage facility, utilising mechanical handling equipment where required.
  • Record relevant information accurately on the warehouse management system and support stock-taking activities.
  • Support delivery operatives in loading/unloading and participate in operational briefings to achieve performance targets.
