Ready to kickstart your engineering career and get hands-on experience? 🛠️ We're looking for motivated individuals aged 18+ to join our team as Level 2 Engineering Operatives. If you've got solid functional skills in Maths and English (or are eager to develop them!), this is your chance!

You'll be learning and growing right here in the workplace, with opportunities to attend specialized training with NSEG as needed. 📚

What you'll be doing:

  • Gaining invaluable workshop experience alongside our experienced maintenance engineers. They'll be your guides and mentors! 🧑‍🏫
  • Getting hands-on with testing and repairing motors and fan units. ⚡
  • Fitting bearings and seals with precision.
  • Manufacturing and fitting fabricated parts. 🔩
  • Providing crucial hands-on assistance for assembly, installations, and maintenance.
  • Accompanying our team to customer sites for:
  • On-site installations of lighting. 💡
  • Inspection and testing of electrical equipment.
  • Responding to on-site breakdowns of electrical manufacturing equipment. 🚨
  • Developing skills in electrical fault finding. 🧐
  • Learning about programming and control panel building. 💻

Key responsibilities
