A fantastic, friendly nursery based in Southsea, Portsmouth, is seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to join their team as a Level 2 Early Years Apprentice. This is your chance to gain hands-on experience and make a real difference in the lives of young children! ✨

What you'll be doing:

  • Working directly with children every day, supporting the planning and delivery of engaging activities. 🎨
  • Helping to create a super warm, friendly, and stimulating environment where children can thrive emotionally, socially, and educationally. 🌱
  • Providing all aspects of childcare under supervision, including personal care like washing, changing, and feeding. 🍼
  • Becoming a key worker for a small group of children, observing their progress and planning activities tailored to their needs. 📝
  • Supporting the personal and emotional development of individual children. 🤗
  • Championing the safeguarding and welfare of all children. 🛡️
  • Being aware of and adhering to the nursery's policies and procedures. 🤝
  • Completing all coursework and training to the required timescales. 🗓️

What you'll get:

  • A Level 2 Diploma for the Early Years Practitioner qualification. 🎓
  • Functional Skills in Maths and English (unless exempt).
  • On-the-job training with regular work-based visits from your tutor. 🏫
  • Dedicated study time for your coursework (4 hours per week). 📚

Got a Level 2 qualification already or heaps of experience? Great news! You could be eligible for the Level 3 Standard Apprenticeship, completed over 18 months. 🚀
