What You'll Be Doing:

  • Dive into specialist teams across Airframe, Design & Stress, Systems Integration, Quality, Support Engineering, and Advanced Manufacturing. 🛠️
  • Get involved in the entire lifecycle of aerospace systems and products – from design and development to testing, qualification, and ongoing support. ✈️
  • Master the art of reading and interpreting engineering drawings, reports, and computer-generated models. 💻
  • Team up with engineers from diverse disciplines. 🤝
  • Sharpen your problem-solving skills to design, test, validate, and improve engineering solutions.
  • Kick things off with your first year at the Advanced Manufacturing Technical Excellence College in Filton for your Level 2 qualification, then move to our Global Technology Centre in Bristol from Year 2 to conquer your Level 4 and Level 6 qualifications. 🎓
  • Contribute to STEM outreach and community projects – because engineering is about people as much as it is about tech! 🧑‍🏫

What You'll Learn:

  • Deep dive into Aerospace systems, aeronautical sciences, and material sciences. 🌌
  • Get hands-on with Engineering processes and practices (mechanical, electrical, electronic systems). ⚡
  • Develop expertise in analytical methods and engineering mathematics. ➗
  • Understand Regulatory, environmental, and quality standards. ✅
  • Acquire real-world engineering skills like planning, testing, inspection, production, and lifecycle management. 📊
  • Grasp the crucial importance of sustainability, safety, and teamwork in live projects. 🌱

What You'll Bring:

  • Typically, you’ll need 96 UCAS points (A-Level or equivalent), ideally including two STEM subjects like Maths, Physics, Computing, or Electronics. 📚
  • Five GCSEs at grade 4 (C) or above, including Maths, English, and Double Science (or equivalent). 💯
  • We also welcome applications from individuals with Education, Health & Care Plans (EHCPs), requiring a minimum Entry Level 3 in English and Maths.
