What you'll be doing:

  • Nurturing and supporting little ones aged 6 weeks to 4 years. ๐Ÿ‘ถ๐Ÿ‘ง๐Ÿ‘ฆ
  • Becoming a dedicated Key Person for a small group, making learning an absolute blast! ๐ŸŽ‰
  • Building awesome relationships with parents and carers, ensuring every child's unique needs are met. ๐Ÿค
  • Collaborating with families to create a supportive environment for each child's growth. ๐Ÿ‘จโ€๐Ÿ‘ฉโ€๐Ÿ‘งโ€๐Ÿ‘ฆ
  • Keeping our manager in the loop about anything important, from child well-being to equipment safety (confidentiality is key! ๐Ÿคซ).
  • Sparking curiosity and offering engaging play experiences that promote development. ๐Ÿง 
  • Championing child safety and knowing when to step in with child protection procedures. โœ…

Key responsibilities

  • Act as a key person to a group of children, ensuring their needs are recognised and met.
  • Liaise closely and build an effective relationship with parents / carers.
  • Teach children, offering appropriate support and stimulating play experiences.
  • Ensure that children are kept safe and follow child protection procedures.
  • Advise the manager of any concerns regarding children's well-being or equipment safety.
