What you'll be doing:
- Helping us create and follow plans to track children's awesome development. π
- Setting up a fun and engaging space that helps kids learn and grow. π±
- Making super accurate observations to see how kids are progressing and if our activities are hitting the mark. π
- Mastering the art of positive behaviour management according to our policies. π
- Following daily routines like a pro! β°
- Being a stable and safe presence, supervising the children at all times. β
- Pitching in with general upkeep tasks β we're a team, so everyone helps keep our setting sparkling! β¨
- Taking on specific responsibilities and smashing your internal and external training. π
- Jumping into staff meetings and training sessions to boost your skills and knowledge. π§
- Always working within our setting's policies and procedures. π―
- Ensuring children access the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) through play, with activities tailored to their needs. π§Έ
- Keeping key children's development records up-to-date. π
- Building awesome connections with children and their families, especially your key children. β€οΈ
- Giving parents regular updates on their child's progress and offering support to help them thrive. π£οΈ
- Being able to work independently, use your initiative, and be flexible. π€ΈββοΈ
- Implementing and sticking to Health & Safety and Safeguarding policies. π‘οΈ
- Managing your time like a boss. β±οΈ
- Collaborating with other professionals (like speech therapists!) and putting their advice into action to support the kids. π€
- Assisting children with feeding, changing, toileting, and hygiene β always following our procedures. π§Ό

Key responsibilities
