Located just a short 10-minute stroll from Arnos Grove station ๐, our nursery is all about giving every child the best possible start and the ultimate chance to succeed. If you've got a genuine passion for early years education and love seeing young minds grow, this is the role for you! ๐ฑ
What you'll be doing:
- Supporting children's learning and development journey. ๐
- Getting involved in planning activities and keeping amazing records of children's progress. ๐
- Being a key part of the daily care and well-being of our incredible little ones. โค๏ธ
- Helping to create an inspiring environment that boosts children's social and educational development. ๐จ
- Fostering social skills by guiding children in group activities. ๐ค
- Providing valuable feedback to the Lead Practitioner and parents, as directed. ๐ฃ๏ธ
- Accompanying classes on exciting school trips (when needed!). ๐
- Assessing children's learning, recording your findings, and showcasing their progress using tools like Tapestry. ๐
Important stuff:
- This is a Level 3 Early Years Educator apprenticeship. ๐
- You'll need Functional Skills in English and Maths (or we can help you get them!).
- Off-the-job training will be one day a week at our Ponders End training centre (EN3). ๐ซ
- Your training package includes a paediatric first aid qualification! ๐ฉน
