You'll team up with experienced professionals, keeping our office running smoothly and supporting the conveyancing department with all sorts of admin tasks. This role is your launchpad to awesome skills in administration, communication, organisation, customer service, and legal support – perfect for a future in law or business. 💯
What you'll be doing:
- Sorting and sending mail, DX deliveries, couriers, and legal docs 📮
- Scanning, uploading, naming, and sharing documents with the right people 📂
- Getting outgoing mail ready, including special and recorded deliveries ✉️
- Helping out with photocopying, printing, scanning, and doc prep for everyone 📄
- Keeping electronic and paper filing systems on point ✅
- Organising, archiving, and finding client files 📁
- Lending a hand to the conveyancing team with admin tasks 🤝
- Drafting client quotes and helping with conveyancing paperwork 📝
- Filling out admin forms, records, and post-completion tasks 📋
- Filing correspondence, emails, and legal docs correctly 🗂️
- Juggling data entry and updating our systems 💻
- Keeping our office supplies stocked up 📦
- Answering phones and helping with reception duties (sometimes!) 📞
- Supporting your colleagues with general office tasks and ad-hoc requests 🌟
- Handling client info with top-notch accuracy, privacy, and professionalism 🤫
- Building killer organisational, communication, and admin skills in a legal setting 💪
We'll guide you through your Level 3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship. Expect regular online workshops (every 2 weeks via Teams! 💻), dedicated 1-2-1 tutoring, and check-ins to keep you on track. Need a boost in Maths or English? We've got you covered with Functional Skills training. 📚 Upon completion, you'll earn a Level 3 City and Guilds qualification. 🏆
Key responsibilities
- Managing incoming and outgoing post, DX deliveries, courier items and legal documents
- Scanning, uploading, renaming and distributing documents to relevant departments and fee earners
- Maintaining accurate electronic and paper filing systems and records
- Supporting the conveyancing team with a range of administrative tasks
- Answering telephone calls, assisting with reception duties and monitoring office supplies
