  • Inspiring positive behaviour, boosting self-esteem, and fostering independent learning to empower our students. ๐Ÿ’ช
  • Getting creative with making and preparing teaching materials and resources. ๐ŸŽจ
  • Helping to get the classroom ready and tidied up, ensuring a smooth and effective learning environment. ๐Ÿงน

Key responsibilities

  • Provide teaching support in small groups and to individual pupils
  • Liaise with the teacher to understand the objectives of each session
  • Assist with observations and monitoring of pupil progress, educationally and socially
  • Keep up to date written records for supported pupils
  • Promote positive behaviour patterns, raise self-esteem, and improve independent working
