Supply Chain Warehouse Operative - Level 2 Apprenticeship 🚀
Ready to kickstart your career in supply chain and logistics? We're looking for ambitious individuals aged 18+ to join our dynamic team as a Supply Chain Warehouse Operative, Level 2! This is your chance to learn the ropes in a fast-paced warehouse environment while building the skills for a future leadership role. 🌟
What You'll Be Doing:
- Get hands-on experience running a busy warehouse operation.
- Dive deep into the CCM Europe supply chain, focusing on UK operations, warehousing, and logistics. 📦
- Master the "Made to Measure" process – understand how things are created just for our customers.
- Become a pro with SAP, learning the ins and outs of managing material movements. 💻
- Earn your Reach and Counterbalance Forklift licences and become a confident operator! 🚚
- Shadow and learn the essentials of excellent Customer Service. 🗣️
- Get acquainted with the Carlisle Operating System (COS), including vital areas like Health & Safety (Path to Zero), performance measurement (SQDC), maintaining order (5S), problem-solving (A3), and waste reduction.
- Complete a Level 2 qualification through West Notts College, combining in-person sessions with on-the-job training. 🎓
Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Ensure all warehouse activities are safe, compliant with Health, Safety, and Fire regulations. 🔥
- Handle inventory efficiently – putting away, picking, checking, and loading stock to meet our targets. ✅
- Operate all equipment (including forklifts, vehicles, and racking) safely and effectively, following company policies. 🛠️
- Report any stock variances or breakages to the Procurement Team promptly. 📣
- Participate in regular inventory checks.
- Maintain a consistently high standard of cleanliness and organisation across the warehouse. ✨
- Apply the Carlisle Operating System (COS) principles in all your tasks and projects.
Apprenticeship Details:
This is a blended learning model. For the first three weeks, you'll attend college twice a week for intensive learning. After that, your training will be primarily workplace-based, with opportunities for wider learning activities as needed.
