What You'll Be Doing:
- Be a rockstar in looking after young minds, helping them grow and learn. π±

- Cook up awesome activities that cater to each child's unique interests and needs. π¨
- Document their learning journeys and share their amazing progress with parents, carers, and the whole crew. π
- Be the friendly face supporting parents, carers, and families. π€
- Get involved in essential stuff like staff meetings, training, and fun nursery events (evenings/weekends sometimes, so flexibility is key! ποΈ).
- Lend a hand wherever needed, from prepping snacks to keeping our space sparkling clean. β¨
- Be the EYFS champion, ensuring we're all about best practices! β
- Help keep our nursery running like a dream! π
- Read, get, and follow all our nursery policies and procedures β we'll guide you every step of the way. π
Your Apprenticeship Journey:
- Commit to at least 6 hours per week for your apprenticeship work and training. π
- Connect monthly with your tutor for virtual 1-2-1s (via Teams β no boring classrooms here!). Learn about vital topics like risk management, the 'key person' approach, child development, and loads more! π»
- Get a minimum of 3 hours each week for your own assignments, research, and projects. π‘
- Plus, receive at least another 3 hours of employer-led training to boost your skills! π

Key responsibilities
- Contributing to a programme of activities that meet the individual needs and interests of the children.
- Recording children's learning and development journeys, and communicating these with parents, carers, and other key adults.
- Liaising with and supporting parents, carers, and other family members.
- Ensuring that EYFS is promoted efficiently and that its policies are followed correctly.
- Being flexible and prepared to help where needed, including domestic jobs (e.g., preparing meals, and cleaning toys).
