As the face of our IT team, you'll be interacting with colleagues and partners daily, so a confident and customer-focused approach is a must. 🤝 Your excellent customer service skills will be crucial as you provide essential first-line support to keep our business running smoothly. 💯
What You'll Be Doing:
- Providing top-notch first-line IT support – tackling helpdesk requests and fixing hardware and software problems, both from afar and in person. 📞
- Keeping our support tickets organised – logging, tracking, and updating them to ensure every issue is resolved. 📝
- Being our go-to tech detective, diagnosing problems and knowing when to call in the cavalry (aka senior technicians). 🕵️♂️
- Helping out with setting up, maintaining, and upgrading computer hardware and peripherals. 🖱️
- Installing, configuring, updating, and troubleshooting software applications and operating systems. 💡
- Supporting the smooth running of our IT systems, networks, and infrastructure. 🌐
- Creating and updating clear technical documentation, records, and reports. 📄
- Adhering to all IT security procedures, best practices, and industry standards. 🔒
- Actively participating in your apprenticeship training to boost your tech knowledge and skills. 🌱
- Working as part of a supportive team, keeping things professional, organised, and positive. ✨

Entry Requirements:
- 3 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grades 4+ (A-C) in any subject.
- GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above).
- You shouldn't already have a qualification at the same or a higher level in a similar IT subject.
Working Hours:
- 37.5 hours per week ⏰

Key responsibilities
- Provide first-line IT support, responding to helpdesk requests and resolving hardware and software issues
