What You'll Be Doing:
- Helping to set up, manage, and fix the school's wired and wireless network gear (think switches and Wi-Fi access points). 🔌
- Keeping an eye on how well the network is running and making sure it's secure. If something goes wrong, you'll be the first to know and fix it! 👀
- Getting involved with network settings like IP addresses, DHCP, DNS, and VLANs. 🌐
- Figuring out and solving computer, software, and network problems using cool tools. 🛠️
- Assisting with user accounts, email, and other IT systems. 📧
- Installing and setting up computers, printers, and other tech for staff and students. 🖨️
- Helping with network updates and changes, always following safety rules. ✅
- Keeping our tech records and network maps up-to-date. 📊
- Supporting our network security efforts and flagging any suspicious activity. 🛡️
- Performing routine checks and maintenance on our IT and network equipment. 🔧
- Working with suppliers and external tech support when needed. 🤝
- Providing tech help to staff and students, and even sharing your IT knowledge in classes! 👩🏫
- Staying on top of new tech trends to help us keep our systems awesome. 💡
What You Need:
- An A-Level in ICT OR
- An International Baccalaureate at Level 3 ICT OR
- An A-Level 3 apprenticeship in a similar subject OR
- A BTEC Extended Diploma in IT (180 credits)

Key responsibilities
