What You'll Be Doing:

  • Crush those service and repair time goals set by the manufacturers. โฑ๏ธ
  • Be our eyes and ears: spot and report current or potential vehicle issues and upcoming service needs you discover. ๐Ÿ‘€
  • Keep track of your awesome work: accurately log all hours, parts, materials, and fluids used on each vehicle. ๐Ÿ“Š
  • Treat every vehicle like a VIP: use protective covers and mats, and be super careful not to damage anything during service, repair, or testing. โœจ
  • Guard customer vehicles and their contents with the utmost care. ๐Ÿ›ก๏ธ
  • Give every vehicle a thorough check-up, reporting on its general condition, with a special focus on customer safety. ๐Ÿ’ฏ
  • Ensure all work meets MOT and manufacturer safety standards โ€“ no compromises! โœ…
  • Leverage your technical smarts to deliver efficient, cost-effective, and safe vehicle service and repairs. ๐Ÿง 
  • Perform quality checks on your own work and confirm vehicles are safe for customers or clearly report any faults. ๐Ÿ‘
  • Minimize waste of all materials, oils, and fluids, and dispose of waste safely. Keep your workspace clean and organized โ€“ a tidy shop is a happy shop! ๐Ÿงน
  • Take excellent care of all tools and equipment, operating them safely with your well-being and others' in mind. ๐Ÿ‘ท
  • Occasionally jump in to recover or collect damaged or defective vehicles. ๐Ÿšš
  • Be a customer champion: handle complaints quickly and effectively, and bring in your manager for any tricky situations. ๐Ÿ—ฃ๏ธ
  • Uphold all company, franchiser, and trade association policies and procedures, ensuring we meet all legal requirements (trading standards, fire, health & safety). ๐Ÿ“œ
