About the role
We're on the lookout for a motivated individual to join our awesome team! π You'll be a key player in our daily operations, diving into administration, sales, and top-notch customer service. This gig is mostly office and customer-facing π©βπ»π¨βπΌ, but you'll also get your hands dirty in the stores π¦ and even lend a hand in the workshop occasionally π οΈ.
Your day-to-day could involve:
- Being the go-to for customer questions via phone, email, and in-person ππ§πΆββοΈ.
- Becoming a whiz on hydraulic hoses, fittings, valves, and all our cool products π€©.
- Whipping up accurate quotes and processing sales orders like a boss π―.
- Handling invoices and helping out with general accounts π°.
- Keeping our company systems and ERP system sparkling with customer, order, and product info β¨.
- Mastering the art of record-keeping, databases, spreadsheets, and filing π.
- Giving the sales team a boost with admin and customer follow-ups πͺ.
- Chatting with customers and suppliers to get the scoop and sort things out π€.
- Building killer relationships with our trade customers through awesome service π.
- Receiving and processing incoming deliveries π¦β‘οΈπ .
- Helping with stock control and doing regular stock takes π.
- Keeping the stores tidy and stocked up π.
- Picking, packing, and prepping products for dispatch π.
- Getting order and delivery paperwork sorted π.
- Keeping our stores and office running smoothly π§Ή.
- Pitching in with general admin tasks and cool projects π‘.
- Lending a hand in the workshop sometimes, learning about hydraulic hose assembly and processes along the way π§.
- Always keeping our health and safety, quality, and customer service standards sky-high β .
Key responsibilities
- Support the day-to-day administration, sales and customer service activities.
- Respond to customer enquiries and provide product information.
- Process sales orders, invoices and manage customer and product data.
- Assist with stock control, incoming deliveries, and product dispatch.
- Provide occasional support in the workshop and adhere to company procedures.
