What You'll Be Doing:

  • Keeping Things Safe & Sound: You'll be the eyes and ears, conducting routine inspections of our premises and equipment to ensure everything is up to standard and everyone is secure. Think building checks, health & safety audits, and keeping our space tip-top. ✅
  • Onboarding & Offboarding Crew: Help welcome new staff members by ensuring they have their desk space and everything they need to smash their job. 👋 When someone moves on, you'll make sure all company items are returned smoothly. 📦
  • Asset & People Management: Keep our asset register and staff allocation documents bang up to date. This is crucial for smooth operations! 📊
  • Delivery Duty: You'll be the point person for deliveries, making sure they're collected, inventoried, and stored safely. 🚚
  • Moving & Assembling: Get ready to move and assemble furniture – no two days are the same! 🛋️
  • Event Support: Help coordinate campus events, ensuring everything runs like a dream. 🎉
  • Handyperson Hero: Tackle basic maintenance tasks like fixing equipment, some DIY, painting, lock repairs, and even installing whiteboards and blinds. 🛠️
  • Manual Handling: You'll be trained to safely handle heavy loads – no sweat! 💪 (Training provided!)
  • Stock Control: Monitor office equipment and furniture stock levels and reorder as needed. Keep our storerooms stocked with essentials like cleaning supplies and refreshments. 🗄️
  • Front of House: Be the first point of contact, greeting students, visitors, and staff with a professional and friendly welcome. 😊
