We're looking for enthusiastic individuals to help us create unforgettable experiences for children aged 4-11. You'll be at the heart of planning, preparing, and delivering super engaging play opportunities in a safe and super welcoming environment. ๐
Your mission, should you choose to accept it, includes:
- Helping to plan and run safe, fun, and totally inclusive play activities. ๐
- Teaming up with our Site Lead to keep our breakfast and after-school clubs running smoothly. ๐โโ๏ธ
- Safely collecting kids from school and making sure they get back to their awesome parents or carers. ๐จโ๐ฉโ๐งโ๐ฆ
- Setting up cool play spaces โ yes, that might involve moving some furniture and equipment! ๐ช
- Serving up snacks and drinks, while keeping everything super clean and safe. ๐
- Being ready to administer first aid if needed. ๐ฉน
- Getting kids involved in activities and being a champion for their well-being. โค๏ธ
- Building awesome relationships with the kids, their parents, and the school crew. ๐
- Following all the important policies for safeguarding, health, safety, and our club rules (including EYFS where it applies). โ
- Taking on training and development as part of your apprenticeship journey. ๐
- Making sure our environment is always safe, secure, and welcoming for every single child. ๐ค
Key responsibilities
- Assist with planning and delivering engaging play opportunities.
- Support the daily running of breakfast and after-school clubs.
- Ensure safe collection and handover of children to parents/carers.
- Set up play spaces and provide refreshments maintaining hygiene standards.
- Adhere to safeguarding, health and safety policies, and undertake training.
