Weโve got an awesome opportunity for you to join our Apprentice program at our main UK sites. ๐ฌ๐ง
What You'll Be Doing:
Youโll become a pro at calibrating and fine-tuning all sorts of measuring gear. Plus, youโll learn to troubleshoot and fix equipment. Youโll be working to super strict quality standards, regularly checked by the big guns like BSI and UKAS. ๐ฏ
This 4-year adventure includes:
- ๐ ๏ธ NVQ Level 3 & BTEC Diploma Level 3 (or Level 7 in Scotland) in Engineering
- ๐ง Calibration Fundamentals
- ๐ฌ Hands-on training in different calibration areas (pressure, temperature, electrical, etc.) within UKAS accredited labs
- ๐ง Personal development courses with awesome external trainers
- ๐ป Mastering Microsoft software packages
Your Awesome Future:
Finish your apprenticeship and youโll be a qualified Calibration Engineer with UKAS signatory status! ๐ From there, you could level up to Senior Engineer, Technical Lead, Specialist, or even a Management role. We also support further qualifications. The skyโs the limit! โ๏ธ
What You'll Need:
- โ Minimum 5 GCSEs (Grade 4+ in English & Maths) or National 5s (A-C in English, Maths, and Science in Scotland)
- ๐ป Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft software
- ๐ก A proactive attitude โ eager to learn and solve problems!
- ๐ฃ๏ธ Great communication and people skills
- ๐ซ Ability to attend college weekly during term time

Key responsibilities
- Learn to calibrate and optimise a wide range of measuring instrumentation
