What You'll Be Doing: The Gig 🧑🔧
- Dive deep into calibrating and fine-tuning a massive range of measuring instruments. 🧰
- Become a wizard at spotting and fixing equipment issues. 🕵️
- Work to the highest standards, adhering to ISO9001 and ISO17025, audited by BSI and UKAS. 🏅
Your 4-Year Adventure Includes: 📚
- NVQ Level 3 & BTEC Diploma Level 3 (or Level 7 in Scotland) in Engineering. 🎓
- Mastering Calibration Fundamentals.
- Hands-on experience rotating through different calibration areas (think pressure, temperature, electrical) in UKAS-accredited labs. 🔬
- Supercharge your personal growth with external training. 💪
- Becoming a pro with Microsoft software packages. 💻

- Graduate as a qualified Calibration Engineer with UKAS signatory status. ✍️

What You Bring to the Table: The Must-Haves 💯
- A minimum of 5 GCSEs at grade 4+ (including English & Maths), or National 5s (A-C) in English, Maths, and Science (Scotland). 📊
- Solid PC skills and familiarity with Microsoft software. 🖱️
- A hunger to learn and a knack for problem-solving. 🤔
- Awesome communication and people skills. 🗣️
- Willingness to attend college weekly during term time. 🏫
