IT Support Technician 💻🛠️

Are you a tech whiz ready to level up your career? We're on the hunt for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented IT Support Technician to join our dynamic team. If you're passionate about keeping things running smoothly and have a knack for solving tech puzzles, this is your chance to shine! ✨

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Software Superpowers: 🚀 Install, update, and restore operating systems on workstations. Build, test, and remotely deploy Microsoft installer packages for new software. Dive deep into software issues, troubleshoot like a pro, and collaborate with vendors or supervisors to get things fixed fast. You'll also be the guardian of our software and license records, keeping everything updated.
  • User Champion: 👤 Create, delete, and manage user accounts, ensuring everyone has the right access. Tackle user profile, space, and settings hiccups, and help us sail through our annual user procedures. You'll also be the go-to for staff needing a hand with ICT software and hardware.
  • Web & Access Guru: 🌐 Request website blocking/unblocking and manage student internet access, keeping accurate records of it all.
  • Data Rescuer: 💾 Restore staff and student work when requested, whenever possible.
  • Hardware Hero: 🖱️ Assist with setting up and security marking new equipment. Diagnose and perform maintenance on PCs and peripherals, including printers. Log hardware faults and chase them through to resolution. Move and set up ICT equipment as needed.
  • Network Navigator: 🌐 Help troubleshoot and resolve network infrastructure issues, working with internal teams and external agencies. Conduct daily checks on our network infrastructure and IT systems.
  • Backup Boss: 🔄 Perform and verify network backups as required.
  • Server Sentinel: 📊 Monitor server performance and take immediate action when necessary.
  • Virus Vanquisher: ✅ Ensure and maintain the successful deployment of antivirus software across the entire school.
  • Space Scout: ☁️ Monitor server disk space and take appropriate action to manage it.
