Job Purpose: Be a total legend helping students with complex SEND in the classroom and during chill-out times. You'll work with the class teacher and the whole support squad to make sure everyone's thriving. Once you're trained, you'll be delivering cool interventions, boosting communication, managing behaviour, and keeping things super consistent and supportive. ✨

Key Responsibilities:

  • Classroom & Pupil Power-Up: πŸ§‘β€πŸ« Team up with the teacher to deliver awesome learning activities and make sure everyone gets the support they need.
  • Get creative with communication methods like PECS, Makaton, AAC, and visual schedules. πŸ—£οΈ
  • Provide chill, consistent support to help students manage their emotions and transitions like a pro. πŸ§˜β€β™€οΈ
  • Boost engagement in lessons with sensory strategies, movement breaks, and positive vibes. πŸŽ‰
  • Lend a hand with personal care, eating, and getting around, when needed. πŸ’ͺ
  • Therapeutic & Behavioural Boss: 🧠
  • Implement awesome strategies from the Zones of Regulation and other therapeutic frameworks.
  • Help deliver targets from Occupational Therapy and Speech & Language Therapy. πŸ‘‚πŸ‘…
  • Contribute to creating and reviewing EHCPs, behaviour support plans, and pupil profiles. πŸ“
