What You'll Be Doing:
- Be a team player, planning, checking, and improving activities for little ones from birth to around five years old. π§Έ
- Care for and educate the children in your room, acting as a key person. π§βπ«
- Help make sure the environment is exciting and suitable, from how it's set up to displays and making sure everyone gets a fair shot. π
- Assist with daily, weekly, and monthly checks around the nursery. β
- Always keep the safety and well-being of the children in your room top priority. π‘οΈ
- Work by the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Statutory Framework. π
- Support qualified staff with daily nursery routines. πββοΈ
- Learn the ropes of being a nursery nurse on the job, working practically with the team. π€
- Learn how to provide top-notch childcare. β¨
- Get why keeping everyone safe is a big deal and your role in it. π―
- Never be left unsupervised with the children. π
- Get a solid grip on child development and why it matters for caring for kids. π§
- Contribute to and complete childrenβs observations and records when needed. βοΈ
