The Role:

We're looking for enthusiastic and caring individuals to join our team as Education Support Assistants. You'll play a vital role in helping our students achieve their full potential. This isn't just a job; it's a chance to make a real difference in the lives of young people. 💖

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Supervising and engaging in class activities. 🎨
  • Accompanying pupils on exciting educational visits and fun extra-curricular activities, like swimming 🏊‍♀️ and independence skills training.
  • Collaborating closely with teachers, speech and language therapists, and other specialist staff to help deliver tailored learning programmes. 🤝
  • Supporting pupils with their personal care needs, such as dressing and toileting, with sensitivity and respect.
  • Learning and applying effective classroom-based skills and behaviour techniques.
  • Assisting teachers in planning and delivering engaging learning activities.
  • Providing valuable feedback to the teacher on pupils' educational, emotional, and physical needs to support their assessments. 📊
  • Working alongside the teacher and other support staff to ensure smooth and effective classroom operations.
  • Helping to maintain a healthy, safe, and secure environment for pupils, both inside and outside the classroom, adhering to school and Trust policies. ✅
  • Providing essential clerical and administrative support, such as photocopying and creating learning resources. 📄

Key responsibilities
