This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience across all aspects of Human Resources while completing your apprenticeship. You'll be instrumental in supporting our recruitment, onboarding, and daily HR operations. 🚀
What you'll be doing:
- Recruitment & Onboarding:
- Help us find great people by posting job openings and managing applications. 📄
- Schedule interviews and chat professionally with candidates. 📞
- Prepare offer letters and employment contracts. ✍️
- Assist with welcoming new team members through onboarding and induction. 👋
- Keep our recruitment records neat and tidy. 🗂️
- HR Administration:
- Maintain employee records and HR systems, keeping everything up-to-date. 💻
- Ensure all employee files are compliant and confidential. 🤫
- Handle sensitive employee information with the utmost discretion. 🔒
- HR Meetings & Governance:
- Help organise HR meetings, creating agendas and taking clear minutes. 📝
- Attend meetings and capture key information and action points. ✅
- Track actions from meetings and help ensure they're completed. ✔️
- Support the preparation of reports for senior leaders. 📊
- Employee Support:
- Be the go-to person for common HR questions. 🤔
- Help employees navigate HR processes and procedures. 🤝
- Lend a hand with employee engagement activities and events. 🎉
- Assist in coordinating staff meetings and communications to foster a positive workplace. 😊
- Learning & Development:
- Track training records and ensure everyone completes their necessary learning. 📚
- Support induction programmes and staff development initiatives. 🌱
- Gain valuable practical HR experience to support your apprenticeship learning. 🧠
- Compliance & Policies:
- Assist with essential checks like right to work and safer recruitment. 👍
- Help with policy reviews, updates, and communicating changes to staff. 📢
- Ensure our HR practices are in line with legislation and Trust procedures. ⚖️
- Wider Business & Administrative Support:
- Provide general administrative support to the office team and Senior Leadership Team. 🏢
- Help keep things running smoothly during busy periods. 🏃♀️
- Take ownership of your tasks and use your initiative to get things done. ✨

Key responsibilities
- Support the recruitment process, including vacancy posting, application management, and interview scheduling.
- Assist with onboarding activities, induction programmes, and maintaining accurate HR records and systems.
- Organise and attend HR meetings, take confidential minutes, and support follow-up actions and report preparation.
- Act as a first point of contact for routine HR enquiries and support employee engagement initiatives.
- Provide general administrative support across departments and assist with compliance checks and policy reviews.
